The sense of space

Taking as its starting point the discussion between artist Ann Veronica Janssens and neurophysiologist Alain Berthoz, Station 5 looked into the role of space in cognitive processes and addressed the concepts of empathy, derealisation and perceptual thresholds. The encounter was accompanied by a presentation of Gianni Colombo's Spazio Elastico, whose spatioluminous workings trigger authentic somaesthesia or total bodily sensitivity.
